Membership and Fees

  • You may join FRA either if you are resident in Fernwood or if you own property in Fernwood without being resident.
  • The membership fee is R150 per household and runs from 1 July to 30 June.
  • You may pay the membership fees directly to the FRA Treasurer in the form of cash, cheque or direct EFT.

Annual General Meetings (AGM)

FRA's annual general meeting takes place towards the end of each year. These meetings are very well attended with between 200 and 250 participants each year. During the last few years, residents have become increasingly aware of the impact of development proposals, land claims, home industry, security, etc. on their lives. As such, the community in Fernwood participates actively in community matters and supports the Association fully in its endeavours to represent the views of the community it serves. Meetings are usually held at the Fernwood Parliamentary Sports grounds, Fernwood Manor.
